The Good:  Boucher has the ability to recover and never quits on a play, regardless of how awkward he looks.  He owns the ability to steal victories from time to time, but as a backup goalie that wont happen too much. While with Phoenix, he broke the modern-day NHL record for the longest shutout streak by a goalie, going unscored upon for 332 minutes, or 5 and a half games. He’s calm, he’s poised, he moves well. He’s a great athlete You can also tell he feels good about himself when he’s on top of his game. When he’s hot, hes hot, shown with his shutout record and strong run with Philly in 2009-2010, helping the team to the finals.  Fan favorite.

The Bad: His confidence is at times fragile, which leads to bouts of inconsistency. He’ll also let in the occasional brain-cramp goal that leaves coaches perplexed. He can be a starter, but he is very inconsistent. Injury prone.
