Jose Theodore

The Good: Theodore, throughout his career, has shown he can succeed and adapt in a variety of different roles and situations. Because of this, he became a good commodity for The Florida Panthers,  a team that  has one of the most prized goaltending prospects in the world, Jacob Markstrom. Theodore definetly has talent, winning the Vezina Trophy as the leagues top goalie and the Hart Trophy as the Leagues MVP, both in 2001-2002 with Montreal. Theodore is extremely agile and moves incredibly well laterally, and his reflexes are exceptional. He wont make an amazing glove save often, but he will flop and dive to prevent the other team from scoring. He has sound positional skills as a butterfly goalie and often displays a flair for the dramatic. His stats won’t be amazing, but he can get you wins.

The Bad: Theo tends to drop to his knees too early and has become somewhat vulnerable on high shots. He has lost some focus and concentration since his great 2001-2002 season, which has hurt his overall value. During the early part of his career, he struggled to have a winning record. Inconsistent. Hes also getting old (35).
